Hello – Naomi, here, with a Free For All Friday post!
Today, I decided to go for a rustic Christmas look using the Harp stamp set.
Here is what I came up with:
I heat-embossed the harp image using Stampendous Aged Embossing Powder in Ivory onto a woodgrain patterned paper. This embossing powder gives a very cool aged or vintage effect as it has a varied texture (fine to chunky) and also has some chunky gold embossing powder and glitter in it. After embossing the image, I sprinkled some of the embossing powder onto the surrounding patterned paper to add some white flecks. Next, I embellished with some gold and ivory baker’s twine, a small die-cut tag, and some enamel dots. The tag was attached with gold twine. The sentiment is from the Poinsettia stamp set which is currently on SALE in the store for only $10!
Well, that’s all I have to share with you, today, folks.
Thank you so much for stopping by – I hope you enjoyed your stay!
Hello! It’s Nancy here with a new card share!
For this one I used the wonderful Picking Wildflowers Stamp Set from Flourishes LC.
This set is on sale in the store for only $10!
I am a tad late at getting this post out, life has been so topsy-turvy these last days. We had a very unexpected and tragic loss in our family my niece’s husband passed away on Sunday. It has been a shock and we are all trying to pitch in to help her through these horrible days. We know that her strength will give her determined young lady a chance to build better for herself and two children 3 and 7 years old. . We are very deeply rooted in our faith and trust that God will provide. Her sister set up a “fund me site” and they we able to raise enough to cover the burial expenses. We are deeply grateful to all that contributed.
Now we all know that Mike and I are older, and about a year ago set up our plans for burials. It was not the most pleasant thing, but now I am so glad we have done it. I suggest that all of you reading this young or older make, these decision while you can. Due to my severe illness we had drawn up both wills and living wills, but not burial arrangements. We knew we would both be interred in Arlington because of Mike service in the US Military, but we had left a gap between making our wishes known and where to be buried but not the how. Trust me do it know, don’t leave this burden to others, It is your life and your death.
Now on to brighter things. The BIG SALE is winding down. Today most of the Spellbinders that are left in the store have been reduced. Orders have been great! I am grateful that we all benefited from the big sale. Marking down the Spellbinder dies gives up the opportunity to sell more of our own dies, both the our own “Tailor-Made dies” and ones for our sets as well. I cannot wait till the first proofs arrive and we can really move forward.
I thought I would share with you some of my very own creations that we still have in stock.
So let’s journey back….

I hope you have enjoyed our trek down memory lane, so shop while you still can, the days are getting short for these sets. Just a little pause to thank God for the good thing in our life. When Flourishes was just starting our 8 years ago we needed a marketing director, god sent a precious Julie Koerber, Now we needed a great new artist and out of the blue He provided me when Bev Cole just showed up on our doorstep! God is good! I am looking to the future which right now for Flourishes looks very bright!
Hello Everyone! It’s Beverly Cole, Artist in Residence here at Flourishes.
Today I am sharing a card done on watercolor paper. As a watercolor artist, I have
a pallet of beautiful colors on hand. However, this technique would work just as well
with watercolor markers or pencils.
I added a few hand-drawn lines and a bit of wire.
Since I love ribbon, it’s almost impossible for me
to at least TRY to add some to every card I make.
This set by Lauren Pope is called, “Friendly Reminders.”
Who doesn’t like to be reminded that they are a friend of ours!
You will be seeing my stamps very soon…can’t wait to share them with you!
My little granddaughter is turning six in a few days, and since I needed to make a card,
I thought I’d try using, “Harp“…one of our new Christmas stamp sets, to make it.
I used the rose-type flower, masking with a post-it note as I repeated it, stamped in light color ink.
I colored it with alcohol markers and pencils, then I fussy cut it.
The Die set I used is our, “Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames”
I added some pearls and ribbon to glam it up for my lovely little lady.
Be sure to stay tuned…my stamp sets are coming…
Hi all. Vicki here for my weekly card.
Today I am using the Glory To God stamp set that was released a couple of weeks ago. [I used my Zig water color brushes for my coloring.]
It is a lovely set drawn by our awesome illustrator, Lauren Pope.
I also used the following Flourisheslc store products:
Spellbinders Victorian Oval Templete Dies SOLD OUT
That’s it for me today, see you next week~
Hello everyone – Naomi, here!
Today, I am showcasing a card that I made using the On the Porch stamp set which, along with most of the other stamps in the Flourishes Store, is on SALE for just $10! That’s right, every stamp set in the store (with the exception of just a few sets) is on SALE – most of them for only $10!
Here is my card:
I coloured the image using Copic Markers and cut-out the image using Spellbinders. Before removing the die-cut from the die, I sponged the image using an ink blending tool with Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass. I then mounted this on a green die-cut card stock circle, added some seam binding, a pearl, and a cute sentiment (also from On the Porch). That’s it! Easy-peasy!
Alright, now it’s time for you to head on over to the store and go on a shopping spree! Hurry, though, because the sale ends this Sunday!
Thank you SO much for stopping on by…I hope you enjoyed your stay!
