Flourishes Free for All Friday Blog Hop!

fl-poppy-bookmark-card-wm

Welcome to our Flourishes Free for All Friday Blog Hop! I’m Rebecca Ednie and this week I challenged my teammates to make an interactive card. That means the card must have an element that moves or requires the recipient to do more than simply open the card. My card features Year of Flowers 2. I used the poppy image to decorate this removable bookmark! There will be more details over at my blog Eclectic Endeavours so I hope to see you over there soon! Be sure to check out what the other designers made; I know I am looking forward to seeing their creations! Have a great weekend!

Hello Friends,

You saw that correctly, the 30%of all products is not over.  We extended it until midnight 11/29/16.  There were computer issues that plagued us all day and still not fixed.  Therefore we are offering the same deal to you today.  If you have any problems please call and we will manually enter your product.

I created a card since I seem to be able to color again, it.s getting better every day.   I used Clover and Bees by Lauren Pope one of our newer set.  It certainly has me thinking about spring and new flowers./Users/L.Brigid.Pope/Desktop/Flourishes 2016/valentines 2016/Clo

My yard is covered with Wood Speedwell in pink and looks like this

Image result for wood speedwell

Here is my card for today:img_0961

It rather simple, no extras, no bow I wanted the image to stand on it on.  I used two different Spellbinder Dies.  One if lack-I love black backgrounds, embossed the smaller die with the same die set the cut some small dies and corners to top off and finished the card.  The card wad stamped,  in Dew Drop Cottage Ivy .  I then used a white opaque pen to color the flower  added yet another die cut with a Happy hello sentiment and I was done.  Easy peazy!

Thee set is available here and it 30% off today, and since it is a new release you can get one free retiring set of your choose. and also available as a digi for $6.00.Unfortunately the glitch is not fixed o the BOGO so just give us a call and we will enter it manually or adjust, but remember you must pay postage, if that is a problem us immediately Free shipp is $5.00 for 4 ounces or less and priority mail for over   Over $50.00 product is free shipping.

Flourishes Free for All Friday Blog Hop – Red as Poppies

page-flourish

NaomiHi everyone, Naomi, here. Welcome to the Flourishes Friday Blog Hop.

I hope all of you in the United States had a wonderful Thanksgiving, yesterday, with loved ones.

This week, I have challenged the team to make their projects Red as Poppies in honour of Veteran’s Day or Remembrance Day, here, in Canada, two weeks ago.

Here is my project:

poppy-2-edited

I used the poppy image from Year in Flowers 2. This image was coloured using Copic Markers and then cut-out using Flourishes Tailor-Made Classic Hourglass Die Set (a personal favourite). The sentiment is from Bushel of Thanks. I embellished with some black enamel dots and some metallic gold twine (another favourite).

Here is the blog hop list:

Barbara Thompson

Beverly Cole

Linda Lucas

Naomi Gong

Rebecca Ednie

Tricia Traxler

Anyway, thank you so much for joining us…I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Your next stop is Barbara Thompson.

Hello, my name is Toni Storie, I live with my husband and daughter in Western Washington. During the school year, I work as a teacher’s aide in a local school district. During the summer, I work at home to harvest the many fruits, vegetables, and herbs that our family grows. About 12 years ago I start paper crafting. I was introduced to the world of paper, ink and stamps in a most common way: a friend invited me to a home-based stamping party. Since then, I have started a blog and dedicated a room in my home to paper crafting. I have been a challenge hostess, a guest designer and a member of several design teams. I am greatly looking forward to my next adventure with Flourishes!

I am Shirley Qu. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have been stamping for about ten years. Once I started stamping there was no turning back, I was hooked. When I am not stamping, I enjoy spoiling my grand babies and my three furry pups. During the summer months, I can be found at the race track watching my husband race. He is as addicted to racing as I am to stamping.  I am super excited to be a part of the Flourishes team and I look forward to sharing my creations.

Give our new Team members a warm welcome.  Vickie already has done a tutorial and had it published.  This is going to be a great team to cork with in your efforts.

Until later, Ciao
